About the Role
As an Exposure Analyst some of your key responsibilities will involve :
Core functional activity :
Ensure GBC UK portfolios are complete and accurate in AIR (or comparable modelling tools) in a timely fashion, working closely with offshore / outsourced data cleansing team(s) and Risk Data Analysts.
Conduct analysis and report on GBC UK Structured Portfolio Solutions (SPS) and open market portfolios, including Catastrophe Modelling and Aggregate basis.
Deliver monthly reports to external and internal stakeholders.
Work with Risk Data Analysts to manage the central collection and organisation for slips and client schedules, as well as risk bordereaux (where relevant).
Maintain disciplined business processes, engaging with broking teams to ensure timely and complete collection of risk and placement data.
Manage and resolve queries as necessary as a key contact for offshore teams, coordinating with relevant business units and central internal resources.
Responsible for maintaining regular Management Information reporting on progress and status of GBC UK portfolios within Exposure Management processes and tools.
Assist with continuously improving business processes and operational efficiencies when performing tasks.
Produce single account client exposure review to support broking placement and client risk management processes.
Support Exposure Management colleagues across a number of SPS, including binding authorities and line slips.
Support other Portfolio Solutions initiatives as required for Aon’s global Broking and Structured Portfolio Solutions strategy, including Aon Client Treaties.
Work in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
As an Exposure Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include :
Ability to interpret and use data effectively
Sound understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes;
Sound technical insurance knowledge;
Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service;
Good problem-solving skills;
Good interpersonal skills;
Good level of numeracy;
Effective communication and presentation skills;
Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation;
Ability to work well as part of a team;
Demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
Highly organised and process driven, with an ability to multi-task and effectively manage various priorities
Knowledge and experience of dealing with large amounts of data
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and an ability to code in SQL, would be advantageous.
Proven ability to develop and maintain business relationships in person and over electronic communication
