Senior Chef de Partie- Main Kitchen

Position Overview

Our culinary employees are entrusted with preparing every ingredient in our meals so that our menu becomes an occasion itself and to create lifelong memories for our guests.

As a Senior Chef de Partie, you will be empowered to lead a section of the kitchen and guide and train the Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs and over see Chef de Parties.

Essential Functions & Physical Requirements

  • HACCAP To follow the day to day procedures including; Diligence, food labelling, weekly deep clean of your section
  • Plan the day-to-day running of your section effectively to meet the service by the department, including; training, supervision, and forecasting in line with the hotel’s business needs.
  • Ensuring that the stock control, stock rotation and ordering for your section is complete to the Executive Chef standards.
  • Communicate all information to the chefs in your section about the hotels business for example; specials, VIP guests and hotel operations meeting updates.
  • Suggest personal recipes and menu planning ideas to Executive Chef and Senior Chefs
  • Ensure the daily running of your section runs smoothly and that the team are ready for service
  • Qualifications and Desirables

  • English is the primary language used in our hotel. Our chefs must feel comfortable communicating in this language.
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of other cooking techniques and styles
  • Michelin Star or AA Rosette is preferred
  • Our hotels operate nonstop, this require flexibility from everyone on the team.
