Are you new to care or have experience and looking for your next adventure? Join us as a Waking Night Support Worker at Bridgewater House in St Leonards on Sea.

This is a is newly-refurbished, 8 bed property with large communal areas for people to socialise in if they wish, including a living room and a garden with a seating area.

You will be supporting adults aged 18+ which specialises in supporting those with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities and associated complex needs.

No experience is needed as full training will be given.

Location : St Leonards on Sea, TN37 7HA

Permanent : Full Time, 35 hrs per week

Salary : £17,374 per annum based on 35 hours per week.

Additional Information : Shifts are all nights, working on a rota basis from 9.45pm to 7.45am, including working every other weekend and Bank Holidays.

As a Waking Night Support Worker you will play a vital part in providing the people we support with care and be able to profoundly improve their quality of life.

You willassist people who are unable to live independently by offering them the practical help they need, as well as emotional support.

This will include :

  • Remaining awake throughout the night to ensure the safety of the people we support
  • Monitoring any concerns in relation to disturbed sleep patterns and follow relevant support plans designed to promote sleep and wellbeing
  • Cleaning, stock control, administering and recording medication
  • Complying with health and safety requirements and ensuring the environment at night is safe

    You do not need to have experience to be a Waking Night Support Worker, although a basic level of English and Maths is required.
