In the role of Solutions Marketing Manager, you will be part of the regional Solutions Marketing team and will support sales activities by developing and maintaining a full range of marketing communications, collateral and sales enablement tools that convey the value proposition of our public safety and commercial portfolio.
You will work closely with Global Product Marketing and regional Sales and Channel stakeholders to provide localised and relevant sales collateral and support as needed.
You will be the expert in buyers, understanding why and how they buy and matching their needs to Motorola Solutions’ offerings.
You will be adept at using multiple formats to transfer that knowledge to Sales and channel partners to drive end user demand.
Working with Sales, product operations and other marketing organisations, you will create the portfolio and solution level messaging and positioning while developing effective marketing programmes that drive solution adoption in the marketplace.
You will have passion for collaboration with others and an eye for quality along with the ability to translate technical capabilities into customer benefits.
Desired Skills and Experience of an EMEA Solutions Marketing Manager :
A minimum of 5 years of experience in solution and / or product marketing in a B2B environment, preferably with a software-
as-a service (SaaS), telecoms or information technology focused company.
Knowledge of public safety communications and information technology, cloud-based or software as a service (SaaS) business models is a plus.
At least 3 years of experience in strategic marketing, sales team enablement, or demand generation.
Strong experience creating original content such as value propositions, solution briefs, brochures, sales pitches / presentations, blogs etc.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Experience presenting to sales, channel partners, customers and other internal or external organisations.
A talent for converting product and solutions capabilities into compelling customer propositions. Excellent copywriting skills with an eye for detail and a flair for creative presentation of ideas and concepts.
Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and work across organisational boundaries and broad range of peers and executives.
Excellent people and time management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and 3rd parties.
Strong project management skills.
Experience with marketing technology, including on-line and off-line methodologies for demand generation and awareness building.
Familiarity with solution selling.
Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time.
