WHAT TO EXPECT

Jaguar Land Rover Classic division is part of Special Operations and is developing a global proposition to offer cars, services, parts, accessories and experiences to enthusiasts of classic Jaguar and Land Rover products worldwide.

As part of the product offer we provide customers with the opportunity to order unique bespoke vehicles, conversions, upgrades and anything we can do to meet customers unqiue requirements.

To manage this expanding area of the business this new role is being established to be the owner of the entire bespoke customer relationship.

Acting as lead facilitator and bespoke specialist you will deliver a customer experience that is exceptional and comensruate with the needs of bespoke customers and our own best in industry aspirations.

Using your outstanding people handling skills you will bring the customer, engineering and production teams together, where necessary, to establish the customers needs, use the specialists to advise and agree the work to be undertaken.

Working with internal stakeholders coordinate cost and retail quotations, presenting them for leadership approval. Once projects are accepted, manage the ongoing customer relationship through careful and proacative oversight of the production plans to ensure that programmes are running to schedule and customer expectations are achieved.

Ongoing review of projects will feed into the sales forecasting process to ensure that we are meeting budgeted performance requirements.

You will own the bespoke process, constantly evaluating it and amending as needed to maximise efficiency and engagement across the business.

Additionally you will identify and work with the wider operations and marketing functions to ensure that your needs, and successes are met and promoted.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

To be successful in this role, you'll have the be able to work independently, be results driven, demonstrating tenacity, drive and perseverance with the ability to deliver operational plans.

An experience of retail customer behaviours is essential but a desire to deliver the best in customer experience is vital.

You will need to be outgoing, engaging and resilient, driven to succeed.

You'll also need to have :

  • Experience of handling customers in a retail environment, sales, hospitality or account management
  • Confident and engaging with customers and capable of developing a superb network of customers and contacts
  • Facilitation skills able to bring together different parties
  • Experience of compiling financial documents, quotations
  • Ability to coordinate and work across departments
  • Desirable :

  • Classic car market experience
  • Technical understanding
