Job description

ISS has the M&E maintenance responsibilities of providing PPM work on a number of property portfolios and is committed to the provision of an efficient and effective engineering maintenance function which is deemed critical to the Client’s operations.

The portfolio is comprised of on floor Critical Environments, Office Environments, IT Critical Environments and satellite support offices within UK main cluster locations.

Key responsibilities

  • Engineers will be responsible for direction and effective reactive and planned preventative maintenance.
  • Working as part of a team, they will also be responsible for escort and overseeing of specialist sub- contractor support performing planned and reactive maintenance, and all other M&E work functions.
  • The Engineer will be trained to become an LV Authorised Person (Electrical)
  • Effective fault finding diagnosis rectification.
  • Strong team player and owner of problems.
  • Good communications with ISS, Client and all other stakeholders
  • Health & Safety awareness and adherence
  • Professional and personal competencies / qualifications

  • Substantial intermediate experience working within M&E building maintenance.
  • BTEC certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • City & Guilds certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 17th / 18th Edition IEE Regulations
  • HVAP desirable
