Missions

Reporting to the Engineering Director the PSV Mechanic is required to ensure a consistently high level of performance in maintaining the company's fleet (Mainly Volvo vehicles), carrying out general servicing, repairs and attending breakdowns.

Responsabilités et activités

  • Inspect and repair vehicles to the standards set by DVSA and the company.
  • Ensure that vehicles are maintained to the required standard and prepared for MOT testing.
  • Carry out any tests and take remedial action from defect reports.
  • Ensure the safe use of garage equipment i.e., air tools, Lifting, electrical and general garage equipment within guidelines.
  • Maintain a high standard of presentation for vehicles.

  • A variety of early shifts (6am start), day shifts and late shifts (2pm start).
  • Full-time - permanent contract
  • Salary : £31,200-£35,000 per year + company pension scheme
