Key Responsibilities

Complete a variety of new mechanical designs for pipework, vessels, platforms and supports

Predict risks and problems relating to site conditions or design limitations and liaise with in house project teams resolve those issues

Handling the design process from the point of initial enquiry, through to the draft and scoping phases, through to receipt of client’s order and subsequent detailed designs

You will be required to develop and maintain long term relationships with the customer based on trust, predictability, accountability, and mutual respect

Skills & Experience

We value everyone’s skills and experiences but for this role are looking for people who have :

Be familiar with safe working practices

Have a Degree in a mechanical engineering or equivalent gained from experience

Be able to provide evidence of achieving customer satisfaction

Be able to demonstrate an advanced ability in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as electronic project management tools

Have an understanding of process systems

You must have historical knowledge / experience of Auto-CAD 2d and 3d in particular with piping

A good understanding of current European and British standards is also highly desirable

Very accurate attention to detail

Willing to learn and adapt skillset
