The Opportunity :
Part of the HR Operations Centre of Excellence team, the HR Advisor role provides support to the HR Ops CoE HR Managers and SL Talent Consultants and STC’s across FSO and UKI to deliver on the Talent agenda.
The HR Advisor provides a commercial and professional HR service to the business with particular emphasis on LEAD performance and development process, HR projects and HR analysis and policy advice
Your key responsibilities
Support the HR Managers in the HR Ops CoE and SL STC’s to deliver projects on employee engagement, D&I, Talent Management, and other key strategic programmes
Supporting on delivery of key HR annual operational activities such as pay review, Talent programme nominations, our Leadership promotions process and the Firm’s performance and development process, LEAD
Other HR tasks / activities as required by the HR Managers and STCs such as reviewing non standard changes to terms and condition requests, facilitating focus groups, drafting Talent letters, and maintain accurate Talent Pipeline MI.
The HR Advisor will also work with the Reporting & Analytics Team to transition scheduled and adhoc reporting and analytics in the short term, whilst supporting business critical activity in the short term.
Participate in various Talent Team projects as requested, in areas such as Diversity & Inclusiveness, Employee Engagement and Communications
Support HR Ops COE HR Managers and SL Talent Consultants
Collaborate with other Talent functions including ER, D&I, Talent Analytics, Recruitment and Talent Development
Team with TSS to ensure consistent and efficient process are maintained to deliver a high quality service
Ideally, you’ll also have :
Previous experience of working in an HR environment at HR Advisor Level, involved in core generalist activities
Certificate or Diploma in Personnel Management (CIPD) either partial or full completion or desire to work towards this in future
What we look for :
Excellent Excel skills (e.g. v-look ups, pivot tables, power BI, V-next, Teams files etc.) to analyse and manipulate large data files and validate large amounts of data.
Microsoft Office suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong influencing and negotiation skills, as well as the confidence to deal, professionally and assertively, with senior business clients either verbally or in writing when providing advice
Evidence of being able to prioritise effectively, juggling multiple tasks at times of competing demands on workload and deliverables, while being able to maintain a strong focus and attention to detail at all time
Ability to maintain confidential information in a professional manner
Interest in broader HR activities, keen to learn, inquisitive about our business
