Here in our Chester office we are looking to recruit for a Mobile Engineer to join our Global Mobile organization, part of Employee Experience Technology (EET) which is responsible for the Bank’s Mobility strategy, managing a portfolio of mobile products and services including mobile applications.
The role will support the Product lifecycle and BAU engineering requirements. In doing so will support the creation of all relevant artefacts, design documentation and operating models to successfully manage and maintain existing products and services as well as delivering new products and services to our environment
Responsibilities will include but not limited to :
Management of Products’ system of record technical data
Liaison with Global Information Security, Operations, Product, Engineering, Architecture and Vendors to deliver robust mobile platforms and solutions
Management of technical input into Book of Work Entries
Development of high and low level designs to meet bank requirements and security demands
Execution of testing and validation in lower level environments
Contribution to detailed testing
Continual ownership for the accuracy and completeness of all technical documentation
Active participation in review of requirements for technical feasibility
Represent technical requirements for the deployment of new services
Participate in regular requirements meetings to groom backlog and agree feature releases
Provide best practice application engineering framework and architecture to ensure performant and functional mobile solutions
The Team :
Global Mobile are responsible for defining all related Service, Product and Programme Management outcomes, driving continual service improvement, evaluate and deployment of emerging technologies.
whether retiring legacy or launching new products & services. Global Mobility are obliged to ensure all products being brought into operational service satisfy stringent define, build and operate tollgates known as the Product Governance Lifecycle (PTx) in partnership with the product and service team.
Core Skills :
Extensive experience of Enterprise Level Engineering Mandatory (preferably within financial institutions)
Extensive experience in working with mobile environments within MDM platforms to deliver best in class services
Proven delivery of mobile infrastructure, policy and application operations within a secure MDM / MAM environment to meet business requirements and operating models
Experience with mobile chat application deployment via MDM & MAM solutions
Experience with deployment of open source applications (Preferred)
Experience of MAM wrapped application optimization (Preferred)
High level of understanding and experience of end-to-end engineering activities on a highly regulated mobile platform servicing both Apple and Android end points with affective secure and control
Experience of engineering activities on Blackberry UEM / Good Dynamics environment
Knowledge / experience of working on other mobile MDM environments Intune / Workspace 1 / Mobile Iron
Knowledge / Experience of application wrapping technologies Blackberry SDK / Intune SDK / Blue Cedar
Experience of working with application signing teams to publish mobile applications
Policy structure and management via MDM for enterprise grade mobile solutions
Experience of Cloud technology in support of mobile solutions (Azure / AWS)
Experience of both Apple and Android Enterprise Management technology (Apple Business Manager / KNOX / Google ZT
Experience of Mobile Threat Defense technology
