Are you looking for flexible work in the Liverpool area, specifically Walton, Anfield, Croxteth, Garston and Speke We have a variety of hours available for the right candidate, even hours to suit working parents.

As a bank worker you also have the flexibility to choose the hours that you want to work. There is no obligation to work on particular days and you only need accept the shifts that you are able to work.

Vocational Support Service

Vocational Support Workers experience an incredibly rewarding and fulfilling role. Our Vocational Support Workers empower people with support needs to be successful in the job they love.

We want to hear from caring, enthusiastic and dedicated team players with a can-do approach who, as a Vocational Support Worker, will be committed to support people to have a great work life through innovative person centred support.

As a Vocational Support Worker you will be matched with people to support them to find or attend work, providing one to one support in the workplace to help the person achieve SMART targets and increase in independence.

Vocational Support is Community Integrated Care’s Northwest based supported employment service, assisting people with learning disabilities, mental health concerns and autism to access employment and vocational training.

Our service supports people across Liverpool, Merseyside, Knowsley, St. Helens and Halton to find the right job for them by : -

  • identifying their individual skills, interests, aspirations and goals;
  • matching people with like-minded Vocational Support Workers;
  • finding the right vocational training and qualifications;
  • helping find work experience and job taster placements;
  • offering on-going support throughout their employment.
  • We work closely with lots of different types of employers , seeking a wide range of job roles which offer the people we support a real opportunity to become valued and integrated team members .

    The people we support are able to make a genuine and positive contribution to their workplace, enjoying the sense of empowerment , independence and achievement which working brings.

    We are proud to deliver placements with the likes of McDonalds, Everton in the Community, Bluecoat, Tesco and the RFLWC.

    The people we support work in a variety of roles from Admin, front of house, parks and gardens, fast food, factories, sports coaching and charity shops.

    About You About you

    Our ideal Support Worker will be :

  • Self-motivated with energy and drive
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, friendly and caring to support the people we support to achieve their everyday goals (including personal care)
  • Able to support people to travel on public transport and in a variety of workplaces
  • Confident and inspire the person we support to achieve more
  • Able to help manage some behaviours that may challenge the norm we provide training and guidance to enable you to do this
  • Comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role - training can be offered to support this area
  • It is also important that you share our company values which are at the heart of everything we do and ensure that we deliver high quality, consistent care and support.

    As part of the selection process you will have an opportunity to meet the people you will be supporting in their work environment.

    This will allow you to see first-hand their wonderful personalities and fully understand the level of care and support that is required.
