They are looking for Data Engineer to help lead the data function.
As the Data Engineer you will be working on migration of their data warehouse to Azure cloud. You will be using Python and R to set up pipelines to ingest into cloud and will also assist with putting new monitoring in place.
You will also be assisting with moving towards aggregating data in real-time.
To be successful as the Data Engineer you need to have commercial experience building pipelines with either Python or R.
You should also have strong experience with SQL and with ETL processing, as well as have experience using any big data tool.
As the Data Engineer you will be heading the engineering part of the data function, giving a clear path for progression to lead as the team expands.
You will have influence over the tooling you want to use as well as gain cloud experience.
