Hitched.co.uk is the UK’s market leading Weddings website and is central to our Weddings portfolio strategy. Hitched.co.

uk is part of Immediate Media and reaches 1.8 million unique users a month. It delivers an end-to-end planning service to brides and grooms-to-be.

Over 70% of revenues on hitched.co.uk come from the highly successful Venue & Supplier listings and we are looking for sales executives to sell these listings subscriptions.

A Venue / Supplier listing allows our clients to reach a huge number of brides-to-be resulting in high levels of referrals.

They have full access to a dedicated admin section, allowing the Venue / Supplier to keep track of visitors to the listing, track leads, brochure requests and website click throughs.

You will be an important part of a passionate advertising sales team responsible for the continued growth and success of the Hitched.co.uk brand.

Accountabilities

  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to target and develop the Venues / Suppliers listing market
  • Responsible for selling new listings onto the platform
  • Generate and source new leads
  • Work with the ad sales team to create and sell packages across our weddings portfolio
  • Regular reporting and forecasting of financial performance back to the Sales Manager
  • Hit revenue targets whilst developing and implementing plans to reach new customers
  • Deep understanding, analysis and continuous monitoring of competitor set and client base
  • Work closely with the sales team on new commercial opportunities
  • Work with other Immediate sales staff to share good practice, new ideas and new commercial solutions
  • Knowledge, Experience & Competencies

  • Outstanding sales, and presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Preferably some experience of telephone sales environment
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to think both strategically and laterally to deliver commercial targets
  • Comprehensive digital sector knowledge
  • A strong team player with an enthusiastic and "can do" approach
