Mandarin-speaking Regional Manager / Brand Operations (Catering)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regional Manager (Catering) to join a small brand management start-up in the City of London.

Applicants must be fluent in English and Mandarin with experience in managing different stores across London and the country and build further brand awareness of the company.

You must be open and flexible with your working hours as this is a start-up company with lots of opportunities and uncertainties, the company is looking for someone willing to invest his / her time in the company and grow together with the company.

Able to working on weekends and traveling is a must.

LOCATION : City of London

SALARY : £30 35K + commission and bonus

START : ASAP

TYPE : Permanent, Full Time

CORE DUTIES :

  • Be responsible for driving sales value growth and brand awareness
  • Inspire, motivate and coach the store managers and their teams
  • Able to establish systems in store and make sure every staff in the stare able to follow it
  • Ensure excellent service and operational standards across all retail locations (currently 6)
  • Be involved in new store openings
  • Manage P&L, cost and various other KPIs
  • Carry out in-store food safety inspections regularly
  • IDEAL CANDIDATE :

  • Totally fluent in Mandarin and English
  • Experience in start-up or young companies will be desirable
  • Experience as a Brand Operations Manager or area manager in a retail or hospitality environment
  • Catering experience is desirable
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Excellent P&L management skills
  • Exceptional communication skills

    This role will be responsible for managing the daily operations of this vibrant, casual-dining restaurant in London incorporating customer service, team management, cashing up and reporting, inventory, optimising profits and ensuring that guests are satisfied with their dining experience.

    The role will suit someone with previous experience in a national restaurant chain.

    The company have ambitious expansion plans so an enthusiasm for development and progression would be ideal.

  • Experience in an assistant manager or manager role for an established chain restaurant is essential (c2 years)
  • Must have a driven and motivational attitude when it comes to setting up and running a new and exciting enterprise
