We are currently dealing with a major Engineering consultancy looking to expand their Birmingham team by recruiting a BIM Modeller / Technician or BIM Coordinator to specialize in drainage utilizing OpenRoads working on major schemes both in the rail and highways infrastructure, which can includes project such as HS2.
Within the position you will support the Discipline Lead, Project BIM Coordinator(s) and Production Team(s) in day to day BIM implementation activities.
Youll Produce 3D / 2D dimensional models required for drawing preparation, which includes developing analysis and 3D design models and extracting 2D geometry for internal reviews, coordination and external submissions.
As the BIM Technician you will prepare engineering drawings such as, general arrangements, layouts, profiles, sections, surface gradings for Infrastructure and Transportation Projects specifically related to drainage schemes.
You may also update 3D / 2D models in accordance with instructions given by BIM Coordinator and Production Leads for internal and external Design coordination, technical and value engineering activities.
This key for this role is candidate who have drainage experience and can have a working knowledge of OpenRoad or potentially InRoads.
The said company are working from home currently, but the position will be based in Birmingham when the office reopens, but will offer flexibility working 2 / 3days at home.
So therefore, could suit candidate in the surrounding West Midlands areas such as Solihull, Birmingham, or Derby.
