Description This position will carry full responsibility for salesand business development in the territory. Focus will be on developing a widercontact base including contractors, consultants and end-
users. A key objectiveis to seek and drive new business opportunities within the territory and raisethe profile of Emerson in relevant market segments.
Managesales growth in UK & Irish markets and optimise profitability.
Developstrategies for growth through various available channels (OEM, Wholesaler,Contractor, End User etc.)
Linemanagement of two direct reports technical manager and sales distributionmanager. Develop training plan to enhance performance and increase operationaltempo.
Developa wide network of contacts throughout the supply chain including but notlimited to OEMs, end users, contractors & consultants.
Workclosely with Emerson end user marketing organisation on specific opportunitiesand projects.
Introductionof new products in the market, by means of promotional activities, trainingsessions, seminars and visits on site.
Organizeadequate technical and application training for the customer.
Followmarket trends and report them clearly to Emerson management.
Workwith European marketing communications team to develop promotional strategy(i.e. social media, advertising, editorial)
Youwill be expected to travel extensively in the territory (UK and Ireland) andalso to other Emerson locations in Europe as required.
Administrative tasks :
Preparea monthly report on the activities which have been done, new contacts, actionsand sales results.
Assistwith monthly sales and operations planning processes.
Assistmanagement with surveys regarding competition, market shares and any marketinginfo as required.
educated to first degree level or equivalent in a technical / engineeringsubject.
HVACR professional with a strong technical grasp but you have a strong trackrecord in the application of new technologies to solve existing customerchallenges but also to create new innovative solutions.
