Roles And Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities associated with this position include, but are not limited to :

  • Assisting with administration relating to the recruitment and selection process;
  • Assisting with new starters process, including the issuing of contracts of employment and inductions;
  • Assisting with the exit process for leavers and transfers to other Fugro entities;
  • Assisting with HR related record keeping (for example maternity leave and sickness absence);
  • Assisting with all the updating and maintenance of HR systems;
  • Assisting with the administration and coordination of training;
  • Generating HR related reports as and when requested by the business.


    Qualifications required :


    5 GCSE’s or equivalent, including Maths and English.

    Skills required : Essential :

    Essential :

    Efficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

    Strong attention to detail.

    Strong multi-tasking skills.

    Strong prioritisation skills.

    Proven ability to work under pressure.

    Desirable :

    Working knowledge on Microsoft Visio and Adobe Acrobat.

    Experience and confidence in using HR database systems.

    Experience required : Essential :

    Essential :

    Proven experience in office administration.

    Desirable :

    Experience / exposure to an HR environment.
