WHAT TO EXPECT
The purpose of the role is to develop Jaguar Land Rovers’ (JLR) capacity to produce prototype battery pack frames for Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV) internally.
The role will support the planning, control and engineering delivery of all prototype battery pack frame projects to support JLRs growing vehicle portfolio.
This will enable high quality and timely execution of product projects effectively and efficiently whilst maintaining and improving prototype battery frame build processes, issue management and issue resolution.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
You’ll need Cold Metal Transfer (CMT) welding with aluminium experience, you’ll also need experience working with Hazardous Voltage (Battery EV and / or PHEV).
You’ll have experience gained in a manufacturing quality or supply chain quality environment, preferably in Automotive, Aerospace or similar sectors.
You’ll have previous experience in the use of business improvement tools and techniques (Such as 5s, Lean, Kaizen)
You’ll need experience of quality problem resolution with strong written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills.
You’ll need a Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
