Job DescriptionThe Director Business Development will work hand in hand with the Senior Director Business Development and be responsible for helping Sage obtain a new revenue stream and financial growth.

He / she will be a key accountable party for maximizing Partner relationships and driving agreed upon revenue from a list of assigned Platform Service Providers.

This will entail overseeing and ensuring delivery by both parties - of the contractual commitments within the Master Services Agreement.

The incumbent will be the primary contact for all relationships assigned into Sage’s key areas of support including Engineering, LSM, Field Marketing, Product Management, Product Marketing, Finance, and Sales.

Ongoing partner communications focused on marketing and sales activities, ongoing management & forward planning to drive customer and revenue growth through the Partner, SLA and partnership performance reviews to identify areas in need of attention and investment, product roadmap management and prioritization and future product development / innovation.

The role will also include some business development. In specific, this role will be responsible for assisting in driving a new business model and launch of a new platform delivered through partners.

The role will require the unique ability to sell partners on a concept of a disruptive platform as a service to their customers.Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue targets through the partner to deliver against expectations.
  • Ensure Sage and the Partner are delivering against the contractual commitments within the MSA or any other contractual agreements.
  • Lead monthly / quarterly partnership governance meetings to ensure a disciplined and ongoing governance structure : KPI tracking / MI, prioritisation of roadmap.
  • Identify improvements needed and advance product / service enhancements.
  • Support the Business Development Director in the identification of new business opportunities and strategic ventures.
  • Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, and facilitate pitch logistics.
  • Develop proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Identify trends and customer needs, building a short / medium / long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets.
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks that achieve strategic goals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders
