The Role

We are hiring a Market Manager to join our Onshore Student Recruitment team in West Kensington.

You will contribute to Kaplan’s success by providing industry-leading customer service to our agents and students as well as their parents, guardians or sponsors.

You will promote study options at our pathway colleges in both the UK and USA and by helping students move from the initial stages of their application journey to enrolment.

The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and will relish the opportunity to represent and cultivate a high-

value, premium brand product.

Main responsibilities and functions

  • Relationship management of existing and new Onshore pathways agents.
  • This includes assessing if the agent is suitable to on board, providing thorough training and making regular visits

  • Nurturing student applications all the way through to enrolment across all destinations and product ranges
  • Meeting conversion and enrolment targets
  • Applying your awareness and understanding of the specific markets allocated to you and working closely with the relevant regional teams to meet team goals
  • Providing support and assistance for students, such explaining their offer conditions, and helping with pre-arrival questions
  • Attending events and exhibitions as required to promote Kaplan courses to parents and students in conjunction with agents
  • Liaising with web team to arrange student videos / testimonials and other promotional materials to be used in marketing collateral
  • Superior service to internal and external stakeholders.

  • An understanding of international communities and / or students
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and deliver reports
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet targets and cope with changing priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Proven high interpersonal, communication and team-working skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Fluency in Mandarin at professional level
  • Desirable

  • Direct knowledge or experience of the international education sector
  • Experience of working within multilingual, multi-regional positions; paid or voluntary
