We are currently in the process of global IT transformation with several large programmes running and about to start. This includes a global SAP programme.

As a SAP Solution Architect, you will be working of Johnson Matthey's most significant business transformation programme, Unify, which will benefit the business, customers and shareholders by helping JM become more efficient, integrated and competitive.

This is a contract position.

The Unify Solution Architect will be responsible for all aspects of the solution architecture and design integration for Unify deployments.

Key responsibilities

Lead the delivery of Unify Global Architecture SAP component for all Releases and all Waves, including working on developing the architecture, scope and design for future deployments.

Be an active contributor in the Unify Governance processes around scope management and provide design authority to the Design Authority Board.

As an active leader of the architecture community, influence the overall application and process architecture roadmap and how it relates to the physical application components.

Are you the ideal candidate?

Have previous full life-cycle SAP transformation experience with a broad knowledge at across the key SAP modules (FI / CO, SD, MM, PP, eWM, QM)

Have experience across many architectural domains (Process, Data, Applications, Technology, Integration, Security)

Have extensive experience in the principles and application of database and application design

Have excellent certified project management skills.

Have excellent business analysis skills in a highly regulated industry e.g. chemical, manufacturing, pharmaceutical

Have excellent communication skills and influencing skills with the ability to wins hearts and minds, challenge accepted norms and drive change processes

Be able to develop strategic direction whilst keeping the organisations vision and values at the core
