Whether you're fresh out of uni or college and want office experience, or you've been in the workplace and can give us customer-service skills and a flexible attitude, this varied assignment might be right up your street! At Grundon, we’re looking for a temporary Accounts Receivable Assistant to join us on a fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave for a period of up to 12 months.

You'll work with the supportive Finance team at our modern head office in Benson, South Oxfordshire, and earn a competitive salary and great benefits, including :

  • What you'll be doing as Accounts Receivable Assistant (maternity cover)

    Working where you're needed, across Invoicing and Credit Control, you will provide support and cover, including :

  • Answering incoming and return customer calls
  • Responding to email and postal queries
  • Actioning customer card payments
  • Providing customers with document copies
  • Raising invoices and credit notes
  • What we're looking for in our Accounts Receivable Assistant (maternity cover)

  • Good computer skills, including Excel
  • Ability to connect with customers and colleagues on the phone, email and in person
  • Self-motivated and able to work alone and in a team
  • GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Working hours : 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. A total of 35 hours per week
