About us The Greenbelt arts festival is a key event in Christian Aid’s calendar. It enables us to get our message across to festival-
goers who (like us) are passionate about putting their faith into action to challenge global poverty. Volunteers are vital to making our presence at Greenbelt a success.
About the role As a venue manager with Christian Aid at Greenbelt, you will be part of the small and friendly team and make a practical contribution to our work.
You will oversee the operational aspects of the Christian Aid venue, troubleshooting any problems and ensuring its smooth running.
An integral part of the Christian Aid on-site team, you will work with staff members, volunteers and key on-site representatives and in between shifts you’ll also get some time to enjoy the festival.
About you Do you have experience in live events or festivals? Can you solve problems on the go, and have great people skills to keep customers and volunteers happy, and an event running smoothly?
The venue managers will oversee the operational side of the venue and cafe, keeping everything running smoothly and solving technical, logistical and other issues.
As a key member of the core on-site team, you will have a practical can-do attitude, great communication skills and a willingness to pitch in and help.
All of our volunteering opportunities are based in the UK and requires applicants to have a visa that allows them to volunteer in the UK.
