There are 230 pupils on roll with Pupils with a statement of special educational needs (SEN) or education, health and care (EHC) plan being well below the national average, at only 1.

3%. You will be working in a school that is well staffed, having six High Needs Teaching Assistants, along with additional support workers.

The role will entail liaising with SEN team, timetabling and overseeing the daily running of SEN throughout the school. You will enjoy the benefit of secure on site parking so that you dont to worry about finding parking at the start of your day.

In the most recent inspection, the school was graded as continuing to be Good by OFSTED with highlights being made regarding to the rise of pupil outcomes and the Headteachers determination to upholding her ethos of teaching lifelong learning skills to pupils.

Working in this Lead position you will oversee and implement the schools SEN policies and ensure optimum success for pupils with special educational needs, ensuring their specific needs are being met individually whilst also integrating them in the inclusive learning environment offered by the school.

If you have particular, experience of dealing with safeguarding this would be advantageous. You will be working very closely with the Headteacher in this role and will be supported and listened to at all times.
