The purpose of the Commercial Analyst will be too provide commercial support to the business specifically focussed on Marketing.
The successful candidate will provide analysis of a broad range of data from the business including product, customer and store.
Our Commercial Analyst will build, develop and maintain statistical models across our customer data to create insight led campaigns and intervention across our customer base.
We will also require the successful Commercial Analyst to provide insight into what is driving the business and highlight and risks or opportunities that may be relevant.
Working closely with the Commercial Finance Manager as well as other key stakeholders within the business, the Commercial Analyst will identify, prioritise and deliver a wide range of analysis projects to the business and use insight from our data to make recommendations for change within the business.
Provide robust accurate reporting of business information to the business within agreed timescales.
Provide an independent view on the effectiveness of all business initiatives and make recommendations for considerations.
Challenge where appropriate to ensure Iceland is maximising best value from any investments that we make.
Use all available data to make conclusions on business performance that will help influence decisions on how we improve our trading proposition.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
Work closely with other members of the team to share best practice.
Provide ad hoc commercial support to the wider business.
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND QUALIFACATIONS REQUIRED
SAS knowledge is essential
Statistical modelling working experience is a must
Mathematics, Statistics or Physics background would be advantageous.
This is a permanent role paying up to £45k.
