You’ll be working in a part of Telent that is dedicated to transforming the way support is delivered nationwide to Openreach and other network operators, including Gigaclear.

In these extraordinary times of the coronavirus outbreak Telent is continuing to Recruit. We provide services to customers which are integral to providing mission critical systems and infrastructure across the UK and Ireland and we need to continue to deliver those services.

To help limit the amount of face to face contact during the recruitment process, we will now do more online assessments and use Skype / Conf Calls for interviews wherever possible.

Role Profile :

  • Developing, implementing and updating resource allocations plans needed for projects and / or programmes, taking account of availabilities, fluidity and scheduling
  • To prioritise and support work orders, through liaison with subcontractors and third parties
  • To ensure full compliance with local authority and statutory provisions for the administration of Street works legislation.
  • To maintain accurate records of delayed and non-fluid orders
  • To comply with the relevant Health and Safety Policy provisions
  • To perform other duties as required.
  • To ensure all agreed client and internal KPI’s are met or exceeded.
  • Report to the Programme Manager, at the earliest opportunity, any potential risks to programme delivery such that action to address can be agreed and implemented effectively.
  • Work with other members of the team to deliver customer results.
  • Typical Deliverables :

  • Can interpret and evaluate information from a range of sources and in a variety of formats
  • Preparing and maintaining schedules of activities and programmes, taking account of dependencies and resource requirements
  • Ensure the agreed programme management methods, standards and processes are maintained throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • Assist the Programme Manager and team managers in the production and maintenance of programme plans.
  • Co-ordinate the production of all reports and produce programme summary reports
  • Undertake any other administrative tasks as specified by the Programme Manager
  • Business Operations Skills Experience :

  • Ability to prioritise and organise workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • Adept in the logistical skills required to produce effective and efficient work programmes (Customer, materials, geography).
  • Strong customer vision with experience of dealing with third parties
  • Must be adept in use of software systems.
  • Ability to understand performance metrics and generate reports
  • Business Operations Skills Qualifications :

    Educated to GCSE Standard
