Fulbridge Social Care are recruiting Waking Night Residential Support Workers to work in children’s residential care homes and Independent Living settings.
During a waking night placement, you will monitor the young people throughout the night to ensure they are always safe and keep the logbook up to date.
Whilst on shift you may also be required to carry out light house duties within the setting such as dusting, polishing, sweeping, mopping and laundry duties.
You will be working with children and young people from the age of 11 to 18 who have been placed into the care system for various reasons and may have complex needs and display challenging behaviour.
General duties will include the following :
Understanding Sexualised Behaviour; Working with Self Harm and Understanding Autism and ADHD
Please note that you would be required to complete an enhanced DBS with Fulbridge Social Care at a cost of £59 met by the employee or provide a portable DBS.
Please note that International Checks might also be required as part of compliance if you have lived or worked for an extended period abroad.
All candidates must also successfully complete the induction assessment training as part of candidate compliance, prior to any placements being offered.
