A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Director / Manager for my client who operates in the healthcare staffing industry, with offices in South Wales / South West of England.
Supported by an excellent, friendly, and close-knit team, this is an opportunity to join the company at a senior management level and be responsible for the day to day operational management of the business.
As well as the general day to day tasks of running the business, operationally the role will involve overall staff management of a medium sized team (with several direct reports), P&L responsibilities, resolving issues and providing solutions, whilst always having the focus and goal of driving efficiencies and quality improvements taking the business forward.
This year the business would like to focus on stability and maintaining revenue streams with a view to building and growing into an even more exciting and dynamic role within the near future, so there are plenty of development opportunities within this organisation.
This is a vital role within the business where you will be managing the day to day activities, analysing statistics, reading and writing reports, setting and reviewing budgets and managing costs and presenting to the board of directors.
You will need to have a hands-on approach as you will be responsible for planning and controlling change within a transitional period within the business.
To be successful in the Operations Director / Manager role, you will need previous management experience, leadership skills, competency in office IT and effective communication skills at all levels.
The ideal candidate will have experience in leading multi-branches / teams, ideally within the medical, healthcare or similar high paced, highly regulated / compliance sectors.
