YOUR ROLE
As a Warehouse Operative you will be part of a successful team who are committed to supporting a high-profile customer. This is a critical role within the operation, and directly contributes towards the efficiency and effectiveness of the team and operation.
You will carry out physical warehousing duties, which may include picking, packing, dispatching, kitting and inspection.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Unload vehicles and ensure goods tally with goods received notes.
Complete goods received paperwork and pass to the Goods in Inspector for entry into stock control system.
Move goods to designated warehouse location as directed by Department Team Leader / Supervisor.
Stock checks / PPI as per client’s schedule and directed by Account Co-ordinator.
Pick goods from warehouse and marshal in loading area.
Inspect & pack goods into shipping crates. (Building / packing of crates also forms part of the role).
Load finished goods onto designated transport.
Ensure compliance of the site security process and follow CEVA Logistics policies and procedures
Create a great operational experience for our customer
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and work practice.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Previous experience of Kitting and Inspection
Previous experience picking and packing, preferably using SAP or Oracle interfaces
Attention to detail is a must
Someone with reach and counterbalance license
Someone who is a great team player but also able to work alone where required
Good communication skills
Able to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines and targets
