Job Summary

The ISS MI Sales team is seeking a sales professional with 5+ years of experience of new business development of software sales in the financial services industry.

Your core focus will be to secure new financial product provider logos by establishing and growing relationships with senior level decision makers.

Utilizing your extensive solution selling skills, you will be demonstrating the value of ISS Market Intelligence services and making thoughtful recommendations to benefit senior distribution, operations, product, strategy, and technology leaders.

About the role :

Driving the entire sales process from opportunity identification, with support from Inside Sales, through pitching and negotiation, to close

Working within an assigned territory or product remit

Achieve success by managing activity and pipeline through Salesforce and other supporting tools with associated reporting and forecasting

Leveraging your network to develop and deliver tailored business cases demonstrating the value of our solutions

Actively promote our services through all available channels from industry events and conferences to social media

Establish and maintain strong relationships with partners and industry organisations to facilitate new business opportunities

Work hand in hand with our Inside Sales Representatives to ensure a seamless transition from lead generation to sales close

Demonstrate excellent working knowledge of all ISS products

Understand our market landscape and the key drivers of change, as well as the specific challenges that our clients and prospects face

About you :

Educated to degree level

5+ years experience selling software solutions and / or data to financial institutions

Consummate professional with the ability to network and build relationships with senior leaders at financial product providers

Proven experience closing multi-year six-figure-plus agreements

Extensive skills in identifying needs and matching solutions

Strong communication across all platforms and excellent In-person and virtual presentation skills, with the ability to navigate multiple systems seamlessly

Capable of analysing data, problem-solving and explaining concepts

Comfortable taking a deep dive into a prospects’ business, and understanding the results is essential

Superb organizational skills to easily handle multiple work streams and deadlines

Demonstrable ability to learn new software tools quickly

Additional preferred skills :

Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot and Workflow tools like JIRA and Confluence

Active LinkedIn user and knows how to leverage it to build networks and pipeline

Familiarity with core Microsoft Office software, including Teams
