Want to be a part of our team?As part of a multi-disciplinary, global team, you will work on NTT's largest and most complex projects within the European region.

These projects will be challenging in terms of the services design, technical expectations, the number of people involved, as well as duration of the sales cycle.

In many cases the projects to which you will assigned will have a very minimal definition; the client’s problem statement will be a few paragraphs long.

You are expected to drive the project from this starting position towards a detailed requirements statement at which point you will work together with other NTT specialist teams to complete the sale.

The GSS Europe team’s primary objective is to help win high revenue, high margin projects in Europe. Working at NTT As a GSS Director and Principal SAP Technical Architect you will help the local teams with your experience & know-how, and bring in your knowledge during the first, early, part of the customer engagement cycle and help link the client’s business, and their challenges / problems, to a problem definition that the client team can work with and start the initial positioning of the NTT’s services portfolio GSS Mission Statement Maximize profitability for large(10M+) and complex projects in the NTT regions through · Support for the country / region sales and specialist-sales teams with enterprise architecture capabilities and coordination of the architecture resources from the NTT Centres of Excellence (SCOE) · Focus on early-on and long-term engagements, with the emphasis on technical stakeholder management and SCOE capability alignment · Project / bid level risk analysis, including 3rd party partner involvement. We would like you to :

  • Discover, understand, and influence the client’s Vision and Business architecture with respect to their SAP landscape, and, together with the regional sales team and division overlay teams, identify suitable opportunities for the NTT services portfolio.
  • Understand and be able to articulate the implications of technological choices on the downstream operating model in terms of serviceability, lifecycle management, and security.
  • Develop project specific business cases for justifying funding and prioritizing internal resource allocation.
  • Assist the client in their business planning, including the development of the client’s business case.
  • Create and maintain strong, long-term business and personal relationships with key stakeholders both inside NTT and at the client company.
  • Identify risk within a client project and develop a strategy to that mitigate risk together with the service delivery teams.
  • Help progress opportunities through the sales cycle by identifying critical next steps and creatively overcoming obstacles.
  • Use all available NTT and NTT partner resources
  • Engage with SAP to influence thought leadership and market positioning.
  • Provide thought leadership in the S / 4HANA Deployment & Migration space to deliver a global winning strategy and portfolio that positions NTT Services for long-term success
  • Work with NTT & SAP account executives / salesforce to identify and closing new deals across EMEA
  • Foster deep relationships with the Global SAP S / 4HANA GTM Team and all associated technology platform teams to stay abreast of, and provide feedback on, the technology roadmap.
  • Educate sales and clients on the technical requirements to move to S / 4HANA
  • Have and maintain a broad spectrum of knowledge across the solutions areas within NTT, either delivered via the global GTM team or the division GTM teams.
  • Collaborate with and influence global cross-functional executive teams to achieve alignment to a shared vision, focusing on the critical solution priorities to drive the most value within NTT Ltd.
  • Maintain and expand knowledge on the major IT methodologies. Services, and technologies.
  • Maintain a functional understanding of Data and Application architecture design and its implications on scalability, security, and serviceability.
  • Live and breathe the Design to Operate GSS moto. In addition to GSS’s primary objective, the GSS team in Europe has two other focus areas where you will be expected to contribute :
  • NTT’s Global Automotive Vertical
  • NTT’s Smart World initiatives These initiatives are often co-owned / co-developed with NTT Data and other NTT partners and are a cornerstone of NTT Strategy.

    Proven ability to facilitate and lead conversations and workshops with both senior and executive level clients as well as their technical teams.

    Analytical, Problem Solving and Decision-Making skills Ability to solve both complex and uncomplicated service design or technical problems and be able to articulate these clearly to the other team members (both towards the client and NTT) Proven experience in integrating solutions for client projects with the business domain, enterprise concerns, industry standards, established patterns, and best practices Outcome Focused Drive to achieve or exceed the agreed target even when operating in high pressure environments.

    At least 5 years of experience with large technology engagements as a domain expert or Technical Solution Architect Proven SAP knowledge (across all SAP areas, products) Experience with ECC to S / 4HANA Conversion with all associated products, toolsets, software accelerators and methodologies (brown-field and green-field) Knowledge of S / 4HANA deployment options, sizing and benefits Proven experience with S / 4HANA pre-sales, technical roadmap and landscape design Proven experience with SAP on public cloud platforms and migrations (specifically Microsoft Azure and AWS) Proven experience of advising and supporting customers running on SAP HEC Proven experience with SAP Solution Manager technical implementation Proven experience with SAP on HANA, Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, MAXDB and ASE databases Proven experience with SAP running on Windows, Linux and AIX operating systems IT knowledge / project management / integration management experience Have a good understanding of Enterprise Architecture, ITIL, and ISO27001.

    Have a working understanding of good IT Governance design and good IT Policy and Process design Experience of SAP Retail deployments (SAP Customer Activity Repository) SAP retail industry experience Education Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of experience Formal solution-selling sales training Formal certification, cloud Solution Architecture (Microsoft Azure or AWS) Formal SAP certification, preferably including SAP S / 4HANA Conversions
