Resettlement Worker / Housing Officer

Full time - Mon Fri 9 : 00 - 17 : 00

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Resettlement Worker.

You will provide bespoke support to young families and pregnant women who are currently in inappropriate accommodation (sofa surfing / short term rents / staying with family).

You'll be supporting the clients resettling to their own property, supporting them with benefits and sign posting them to other services to support them.

The key to this role is to build trust with your clients so you can support them build a future for them and their families.

About you :

You will have experience as a Housing or Tenancy support worker or as a resettlement worker.

You will be working with customers 1-to-1, you will have strong verbal and written communication skills, including good negotiation and advocacy skills.

Some of customers struggle to engage and so your person-centred approach, patience and resilience will be needed to encourage engagement.
