If you are retired or maybe due to retire?
Perhaps you want to do something completely different, a new area of work for you, a change of direction or something fresh to add into your activities?
Do you need something that can work around the needs of your family? Perhaps evening work where little ones can be looked after by a partner rather than needing to pay for daytime child care?
Why not consider becoming a CAREGiver with Home Instead. Age is no limit.
Please, don't worry if you don't have sector experience. ( It can be advantageous to have no bad habits!)
We need you simply to have a kind compassionate heart, to be a driver and to seek work 10-20 hrs a week across the week - mornings (from 8) or evening (until 9) and a few hours every other weekend.
The area of work is potentially Emsworth to Bedhampton, Horndean to Hayling BUT we TRY to have you close to your home as much as possible.
We will train you well and place you very carefully.
Home Instead Senior Care is a very different type and an Outstanding standard of care. 1hr minimum visits, no uniforms, taking the time to be company rather than a quick 'service' visit.
Trips out and lovely chats. Clients and caregivers matched so you may have only 2 or 3 clients and you will mean so much to them.
We keep people independent in their own homes. - supporting with tasks varied such as meal preparation, personal care, shopping and light housework.
Home Instead Senior Care Havant is family owned and operated.
CAREGivers for Home Instead are simply the best, we do not employ anyone unless we would be happy with them caring for our Mum’s.
Good person centred Care isn’t a 9-5 thing, its life and people and real and the requirement for assistance and support may involve helping on a morning or an evening or at a weekend so you need to be regularly and reliably available over a mix of those time slots.
You must be - kind, RELIABLE, flexible (times of your availability and where you will travel to locally). Did we say reliable - honestly if you aren't, please do not apply!
The right attitude (Can Do!) is completely key.
You need a listening ear - our clients often like to chat, please be comfortable with good conversation and something of interest to say.
Everything else - we will teach you. We have a Princess Royal Training Award so we are good at training!
