We are looking for an enthusiastic Material Planning and Customer Services Placement Student to join our team specializing in Supply Chain for our Corporate Segment in Darlington.
During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :
Material Planning - Managing the balance of supply and demand to optimize business results
Customer Services - Being the voice of the customer in plant and maximising their experience through the management and fulfilment of their order requirements.
Ensuring internal and external customers' expectations and requirements are met.
Analysing and interpreting data to draw conclusions to improve business processes.
Exposure to global logistics, sales and marketing, supply chain finance
Preparing key performance indicators and presenting to senior management
To be successful in this role you will need the following :
Enrolled on a Business or Supply Chain focused degree which includes a 12-month industry placement.
Previous customer or supplier facing work experience is beneficial but not essential
Excellent IT Skills, in particular Excel
Strong communication (written and oral) and time management skills
