Support Workers / Care Assistants, Portsmouth, Part Time - Weekends
We are looking for weekend Support Workers to support individuals in in a great location in Portsmouth with fantastic benefits.
You don't need experience as full training is given. We offer a great team environment and competitive pay rates. You will be friendly and approachable and support individuals to have a great life with excellent outcomes.
As a Support Worker, you'll be helping people you support to live the individual life they want, ensuring they have choice and control over the
planning and delivery of their support.
The role will include :
Supporting with household tasks - Laundry, cleaning, cooking - meal prep as well as supporting people with person care - Prompting / All aspects.
You will support with a variation of activities, including going bowling, shopping, day trips, cinema and much more, whilst supporting with attending doctors and dental appointments and administrating medication
Be prepared to work flexibly. For example - Shift patterns can be from 7am - 2pm / 7 : 30am - 3pm / 3pm - 10pm / mid shifts / and long days.
We want you to develop professionally as a Support Worker. This means that you are expected to get involved and contribute in meetings, work towards gaining qualifications about your work, attend training courses and be willing to learn new things and ways of working.
