  • Job description

    We are looking for a Junior Finance Specialist to join our Finance Team in Sheffield.

    ORONA’s activities are focused on the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance, and modernisation of lifts, escalators, moving ramps and walkways.

    Operating in 100 countries , we have 180,000 lifts worldwide using our technology. With 2 manufacturing plants Orona is Number 1 in Europe in terms of complete lift production capacity.

    Reporting directly into the Financial Controller this is an amazing opportunity for a talented finance professional who wants to develop their career by joining a rapidly expanding Company.

    You will play a lead role within the business, taking responsibility for part of the Companies financial activities.

    Responsibilities will include :

  • Processing invoices (suppliers & subcontractors) and expenses
  • Manage the purchases procedure and ensure this is followed efficiently
  • Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions
  • Manage accounts payable inbox
  • Completion and submission of TAX returns
  • Be a key point of contact for other departments
  • Support the Finance Controller projects and tasks when required
  • Assist in the preparation Management Accounts (Profit and Loss Account and Balance Sheet)
  • Support the audit process providing sufficient support documentation and explanation to auditors
  • You will have demonstrable experience of working in a fast paced environment where personal time management and ability to work to operational deadlines is key.

    You will ideally have experience in the Finance sector and the ability to use Microsoft packages; Excel is essential.
