Job Title :

Contract : permanent full time, part time, bank.

Hours advertising : 35 hours p / w approximately.

Responsible to : Manager

To provide high quality care to service users based around their individual needs and requests enabling them to to lead fulfilled lives within a residential setting.

To follow the organisation's policies and procedures so that our service users will feel respected, safe and confident in the support given.

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

To support service users with their daily activities to include personal care, cooking and domestic duties, shopping and social activity.

Basic administration of medication, facilitating and supporting with appointments.

To follow the organisation’s procedures to ensure a good standard of communication, recording and reporting regards the service users needs and the service we provide.

To follow the organisation’s policies and procedures to provide a safe, homely environment.

To treat service users with respect and diginity at all times.

To keep up to date and follow individual Support Plans.

To keep up to date with the organisation’s policies and procedures and to undertake all training provided.

To provide service users with emotional support, and promote their independence in managing negative aspects of their mental health.

To work as a team to deliver the standard of care required.

Problem solve issues of conflict with residents.

Accompany social activities such as swimming, annual holiday, cinema, walks, coffee.

Keep up to date with training requirements, in order to deliver a higher standard of care.
