What is Division X?
Division X is an exciting new unit within BT which encompasses our specialist portfolio businesses, unique market-leading products, and future-focussed solutions.
As a Sales Specialist you will sell Messaging solutions. Using your commercial and technical knowledge to understand customers’ needs and will create bespoke tailored solutions that transform the way our customers work and grow their business.
You will be responsible for generating new quality sales opportunities as well as retaining and growing existing business.
The role requires you to develop strong relationships with external market and internal stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor to clients from al levels of seniority.
You'll have the following responsibilities
Build tailored solutions that meet and exceed customers’ business needs, delivering RoI and leveraging solutions across the division portfolio.
Manage and exceed financial targets for our combined solution capabilities
Maintain a broad architectural knowledge and have opinions on leading and emerging technologies, to influence customers and internal stakeholders.
Align with the Account Management teams to build strategic sales plans, build strong relationships with customers, develop pipeline, and successfully achieve regional sales targets.
Work with finance and pricing to understand the P&L in detail for the customer solutions being sold to ensure margins on all deals are maximised and component pricing parameters are aligned to market expectations.
You'll have the following skills & experience
Demonstrate success in a new business environment
Ability to manage major contracts and create win / win outcomes when negotiating high value deals.
Strong communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills
knowledgeable in business strategy and the drivers of sales performance
Strong analytical skills. Able to build, forecast, pipeline, achievement, P&L details, deliver and execute a plan for sales.
Ability to build, manage and maintain multiple internal & external stakeholder relationships and influence at a senior level
Comprehensive understanding and experience of working within solution, channel, and indirect sales
Track record of sales and sales leadership working
Working in large, dispersed matrix teams
Experience of bidding for and successfully delivering complex multi-year customer contracts.
Industry experience from a company within the same market CPaaS or Messaging
