Forter is a fast-growing, enterprise startup that has already established itself as a leader in the online fraud prevention market with a client base consisting of the largest and most sophisticated retailers in the world.

To continue its rapid growth, Forter is looking for an experienced Director of Business Development - Europe, who has a track record of generating revenue through strategic partnerships.

Reporting to the VP of Business Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following initiatives :

Stuff You'll Do

  • Successfully navigate a complex regulatory environment to position Forter as the go-to fraud provider in the context of PSD2 and other European mandates.
  • Source and negotiate with distribution partners - such as payment providers, ecommerce players, or system integrators -
  • who can help extend Forter’s reach in Europe.

  • In conjunction with marketing and customer success teams, ensure existing partnerships are optimized for growth and partner satisfaction.
  • The position has a matrixed operational structure. The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues located locally in Europe, as well as abroad in Israel and New York, to help win partners and gain traction.

    Requirements

    Stuff you’ll definitely need :

  • At least 5+ years of business development or other related experience with a track record of successfully creating partnerships and driving revenue.
  • Experience in strategic Business Development in one or more European countries we are counting on you to navigate a complex regulatory environment, aided by your experience and network.
  • Excellent communication skills : you are a clear thinker, speaker, and writer; highly creative in messaging and visually presenting complex topics.
  • Demonstrated relationship building skills with external partners.
  • Candidate must be located in Europe with ability to travel 20-40% of the time depending on business need.
  • A can-do attitude that you bring to work every day.
  • Additional attributes that would be helpful :

  • Experience in the payments and / or ecommerce ecosystems.
  • Startup background comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements.
