If you are looking to change direction or are just starting out, our high profile No Second Night Out (NSNO) service, is seeking to recruit talented people to join us through our NSNO Traineeship and develop a career in homelessness services.
The No Second Night Out (NSNO) project aims to ensure that no individual new to rough sleeping in the capital need sleep out for a second night.
NSNO has successfully helped over 7,000 people to exit rough sleeping and find accommodation.
We have a Trainee vacancy in our Assessment Hub in West London; which operates 24 / 7 and has a 24hr shift rota pattern.
We also have a trainee vacancy in our new Staging Post service in Brent, where staff work day shifts Mon Fri.
In both services you will get plenty of hands-on experience, intensive support and coaching from your line manager and mentor.
You will also get a tailored induction program and participate in a NSNO training program; working towards becoming an Assessment & Reconnection Worker / Housing Pathway Advisor.
You will learn and develop skills, to be able to play a central role in carrying out comprehensive needs assessments and to offer support and advice about finding solutions away from rough sleeping.
You will also learn how to create reconnection and support plans and provide assertive interventions; in order to prevent people from returning to rough sleeping.

You will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment. Some travel outside London will be required.
