As our new Business Analyst you’ll help our Change Managementteams deliver change projects that support the strategic objectives of ourmortgages and savings division.
On a typicalday you’ll be gathering and documenting business requirements in a way thatshows you have a thorough understanding of what’s best for our customers andbest for the business, translating the information you’ve collected intoBusiness Requirements documentation using a variety of techniques includinguser stories, diagrams and process documents.
You’ll beinvolved in the full lifecycle of projects from start to finish, making surecommunication is clear, governance is consistent and projects are seen rightthrough to sign off.
Building relationships will be a key part of the rolebecause you’ll be managing all levels of stakeholder from every area of thebusiness, facilitating workshops and running meetings to drive the changesthrough in the agreed timescales.
Ultimately, thebusiness will be relying on you and your team to make sure the solutions wedeliver are practical, achievable, cost effective and meet our business andstrategic objectives.
Along withstrong analytical and problem solving skills, you’ll also have the ability tolook at a wide variety of information, listen to people’s concepts and findsolutions to problems to make sure it is the best conceivable idea.
You’ll beable to recognise the difference between what stakeholders want versus what thebusiness needs and have the ability to communicate those differences constructivelyto your colleagues.
You’ll need tobe familiar with project management methodologies like Prince 2, experienced inthe full project lifecycle and used to working with IT systems andapplications.
A naturally inquisitive and questioning nature will be usefultoo, as well as an ability to work independently and a willingness to shareinformation.
