Exciting times for us as we embark on a new venture in Ashton-under-Lyne. Our clinic is modern and purpose-built, with a friendly and supportive team.

We're looking for people who can work collaboratively with our vet, nursing and client services teams while feeding into the wider Animal Trust structure ideas and initiatives.

As part of this role, our new team members will be expected to support the daily running of the surgery, which includes caring for inpatients, supporting vets in general surgery, supporting ICU, maintaining cleanliness throughout the surgery, operating nurse.

There will also be opportunities to assist with advanced ultrasound, X-ray and consultations.

Core Skills

As we move towards universal nurse-led patient care by 2021, to be successful in this role you’ll be confident in your blood sampling ability, IV placement, pre and post-operative care and anaesthesia.

We’re looking for our new Nurse to be experienced in their field as well as bringing with them a social heart and a refreshing attitude as we all work together to shape the future of veterinary care.

It’s essential that you share our vision for developing a not-for-profit service that continues to deliver good, affordable care to our patients.

Above all, it’s important to us that you’re a real team player who thrives from working in a busy surgery and a can-do attitude that will embrace new ideas is also essential.
