Job Description

Pulse Structural Monitoring a leader in marine structural monitoring and has been responsible for the provision of highly successful monitoring systems and services since 1998.

This dynamic organization has a global footprint and an excellent reputation throughout the oil and gas industry.

As Part of the Acteon Group the business is now looking to add to the Technology Team. This is a really exciting opportunity to develop, take ownership and execute a product reliability program with the objective to reduce in field failures.

This role includes ensuring a smooth transition of new products to the production team.

To be considered for this opportunity you will be required to demonstrate :

  • Knowledge of reliability testing techniques multiple disciplines including electronics, mechanical, firmware and software.
  • Practical approach in thinking and attention to detail.
  • Able to think long term implications of changes to reliability
  • Ability to conduct practical tests and interpret the results
  • Able to troubleshoot down to component level
  • Excellent analytical skills and tenacity to see things through to completion.
  • Comfortable with networking, Microsoft Windows and Python scripting.
  • Appreciation of the Cloud and an interest to take advantage of upcoming technologies.
  • HASS and ESS, MTBF & FMECA Analysis beneficial.
