Our Team

The International Funds Product Management (IFPM) serves as subject matter experts and is responsible for the overall product management of regulated mutual funds, ETFs and alternative UCITs used on J.

P. Morgan Private Bank’s investment platform - a multi-fund platform that provides pooled investment solutions to wealth management clients around the globe.

The platform consists of both third-party and proprietary JPM sponsored mutual funds & ETFs, totaling over $50 billion in assets under management, with continuous growth anticipated.

Our team builds, maintains and develop strong relationships with both world leading investment managers and internal corporate partners (ex.

portfolio managers, trading specialists, corporate lawyers, tax specialist and risk management ) to deliver active and passive investment vehicles to the J.P Morgan Private Bank.

Among its core activities and in partnership with internal stakeholders, the team leads proactive conversations with external investment managers to ensure J.

  • P. Morgan Private Bank’s investment platform needs are fulfilled. The process requires : leading structured reviews and negotiations of product fees and relating legal distribution agreement;
  • leading the coordination work with internal corporate partners to ensure the tradability of selected vehicles onto J.P. Morgan systems and proactively advising internal stakeholders on key developments affecting pooled investment vehicles in scope the team (e.

    g. business trends, regulatory changes, etc.).

    Responsibilities

    Internally this role will offer expert advice to the business on all non investment matters pertaining to the product. Support and guidance will be given to teams including Investors and Bankers.

    The role is also likely to require close interaction with our internal corporate partners across Manager Selection, Legal, Risk, Tax, Compliance and Middle office internationally.

    Externally, the role will require building and maintaining strong relationships with fund houses and ETF providers

  • Proactively support the team for tasks relating to the product management cycle (from the on-boarding to the governance) of active, passive investment funds and ETFs, based on business priorities;
  • ensure results are delivered on-schedule while closely adhering to internal policies

    Manage relationships with product stakeholders across regions and functions; provide assistance and information to business partners, operations, control teams and portfolio managers relating to product management

    Lead projects relating to the product including those driven by business and regulation; track progress made against project timeline and proactively report periodically on key highlights, next steps and issues

    Establish and maintain strong relationships with fund houses, ETF providers, relevant financial counterparties, as well as internal main stakeholders such as Investors, Bankers, Manager Selections and relevant Investment teams

    Qualifications

    Familiarity with EU domiciled regulated mutual funds (UCITS) and associated regulatory framework is required proven experience in asset or wealth management industry is an advantage

    Strong multi-taker, highly organized, strong prioritization and follow-up skills

    Strong "can do" attitude and proven ability of problem solving; adaptability / ability to work in fluid environment

    Demonstrated ability to make personal connections, engage and educate stakeholders, ask open-ended questions and listen to establish trust and build lasting relationships

    Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and planning skills

    Good negotiation and presentation skills; excellent communication, interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills

    Experience of working with Legal Agreements an advantage

    Team worker / Ability to work in a highly collaborative and matrixed environment to build consensus

    Ability to take initiative and work without constant supervision

    Highly competent with core MS Office applications e.g. Excel and PowerPoint

    Strong written and verbal English required. At least one other European language (Spanish, Portuguese, German, French) advantageous
