We are looking to recruit experienced service coordinators to manage our in day service demands, ensuring our teams are available to support people affected by cancer at all times.
The Macmillan Support Line offers information and support to anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis, including patients, families, carers and vulnerable adults.
It is a challenging, yet highly rewarding role.
Our team support customers primarily by phone, web-chat, SMS and email. Our team deal with around 2000 customers a day with the majority of the traffic coming via the phone service.
We currently operate each function as a free standing route but aim to move to a blended way of working this year, experience of this would be beneficial.
You will work as part of a small team, using your experience to coordinate our service offer and ensure our team can serve our customers in a timely manner.
Working with our Macmillan Support line team and our Team Leaders, you will be a key point of contact for Service Managers and Heads of Service to ensure service delivery.
You’ll need to be highly organised in this role with the ability to identify areas in need of improvement, providing solutions along the way.

The role of a Service Coordinator involves making the right decisions in the right moment, communicating well with the leadership team and wider service teams and using data to make forward thinking decisions.

As a home based member of our team you will be confident working independently but there will be occasions (such as training or team meetings) where you may need to commute to one of our offices (Glasgow, London or Shipley - W.
Yorkshire). We expect this to be minimal. You will also require a high speed, reliable broadband connection and a dedicated quiet and confidential work space within your home.
