Whilst much of your work will be focused in the water and environment team, you will have the opportunity to work with other parts of the company providing you with the opportunity to further expand your experience and also contribute to wider national and international infrastructure, water and ecological projects in new and existing areas.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join our water and environment team based in the UK with the ability to model and interpret hydrological / geomorphological related to impacts on ecological and water quality and quantity.
You will be required to provide technical expertise and experience on a variety of water and environmental management projects, including river restoration schemes, river management and environmental impact assessment, environmental statements for planning, water resource management, drought planning and monitoring planning as well as cutting edge R&D studies for a wide range of clients in the public and private sector.
Understanding, predicting and communicating the potential impact of hydro-geomorphological conditions on habitats and associated ecology at local and catchment scales will be a critical element of your role, working alongside a multi-
disciplinary environmental team. In addition you will be responsible for leading on the assessments including project management and direction.
Building upon and identifying new work opportunities will be an essential component of this role.
