An experienced HR Advisor you will be confident to support our HR Business Partners.
You will be assigned to work with one or more Business Partners and you will support them on a wide variety of work within their business units, becoming a trusted advisor for our managers.
What will I be doing?
Supporting the full employee journey and all the administrative and advisory work running alongside onboarding, development, wellbeing, international assignments and our regular calendar of projects, such as annual performance appraisal and mid-year reviews and our promotion cycle.
Responding to day to day queries about our people policies and processes and the range of services and tools available at Ipsos MORI.
We are a growing business so you will be involved in supporting our Talent team and HR Administrators to attract and onboard new employees and to engage contingent support for special projects.
Manage our data efficiently and produce timely, insightful people metrics to influence and inform our business leaders.
You will gain strong insight into areas of our business and work with your HR Business Partner to identify trends, gaps in our knowledge and the areas where we can have even more impact as an HR team.
You will connect with our specialist Learning & Development, Early Careers, Reward and HR Administration teams to source information, advice and information to support your business areas and HR Business Partners.
Work alongside the Business Partner team to review and update people policies and respond in innovative, creative ways to requests for guidance, tools and advice
Work with us to continually influence and promote our commitment to Inclusion & Diversity in all of our HR activity.
Help us review our administrative processes and suggest improvements and new ways of doing things.
Get involved in team-wide projects such as our plans for blended working in Autumn 2021 as we return to the office, our programme of wellbeing activity, engaging employees in our Learning & Development offer and preparing information to contribute to business updates.
What do I need to bring with me?
To be successful in this role you will need the following skills and experience : -
Experience of working in a busy, creative HR team in an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role. You should be confident and competent to :
Interpret and advise on people policies and processes including ER issues, recruitment & selection processes and all other aspects of the employee life-cycle
Research issues, problems and trends and make recommendations
Contribute to team projects providing administrative support, designing project plans and collating information and feedback
Engage with senior managers to provide pragmatic advice and produce timely, good quality information
Recognise best practice approaches and demonstrate good understanding of key employment legislation
Deliver work with impact and to a consistently high standard with attention to detail and accuracy
Extract and manipulate people metrics in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
Excellent written communication skills
Interest and drive to build strong working relationships across our business and positively represent the Ipsos MORI HR team
