    The FS C&I team works with the Head of the FS practice in the UK developing and delivering C&I plans that grow our accounts, responding to changes in the industry, identifying emerging issues in the market and managing campaigns that enhance our reputation, develop our market position and bring revenue to the Firm.

    Your role

    We are seeking a dedicated, experienced Senior Marketing Manager to run our Financial Services (FS) marketing programme.

    A key element of the role is providing advice and support to the FS Business Partner, and head the FS marketing team. In this role you will be responsible for all marketing activity across the FS sectors, and for providing strategic marketing direction and advice to the partner group.

    The individual appointed will work with the rest of the FS C&I team to shape the marketing strategy and plan, aligned to the firm-wide UK FS industry strategy.

    You will also implement its execution to achieve the highest measurable client impact and ROI.

    The role will involve working with the wider FS C&I team (Insight and Client Portfolio Management), the FS press leads, and other C&I teams across the UK firm to ensure alignment and integration of Deloitte’s C&I offering in FS

    Work pattern : This is a permanent contract opportunity. The role can be worked on a full-time basis.

    Your professional experience

  • Strategic thinker - able to draw together multiple strategic imperatives to inform the development and delivery of the FS strategy and plan
  • Proven ability to build relationships internally and with clients, establish a position of influence and credibility and provide high quality service to senior stakeholders
  • Good understanding of the breadth of Clients & Industries activity experience in / working with multiple elements of the following : Marketing, digital, insights, internal communications and PR
  • Ability to oversee a number of projects happening simultaneously; works well under pressure
  • Proven project management experience with oversight and ownership of team deliverables including delegating responsibilities and playing to team strengths
  • Creativity and the ability to work collaboratively to reach innovative solutions
  • Ability to interpret and develop an understanding of technical subject matter
  • Ability to deal with a degree of ambiguity and use own initiative
  • Team player shows evidence of working with others to get things done, in particular as part of leadership teams
  • Excellent communicator, and interpersonal skills with ability to influence at all levels
