We're on the hunt for an experienced telephone based sales professional to join our Regional Sales Team within the FreeAgent Accountancy Practice Division.
This role is focusing on the effective management of in-bound sales opportunities and pre-sales queries from Accountancy Practices and the qualification of these opportunities, through to signing partner agreements and the start of the partner on-boarding journey.
This is a full time permanent position, based in our head office sited at Edinburgh Quay (convenient for Haymarket train station) and reporting into our National Sales Manager.
Day-to-day here’s what you can expect :
You'll be qualifying and on-boarding FreeAgent's partners - effectively managing inbound leads, gaining commitment and guiding our prospective partners through the first steps of the partner on-boarding journey
You'll be the expert - responding to pre-sales product related queries, interacting with prospective partners to provide information and give insight into the host of benefits which FreeAgent offers
You'll be an ambassador for the FreeAgent product - you'll confidently and professional present the FreeAgent software throughout the sales process, keep up with any product updates and represent FreeAgent at events, exhibitions etc. as required
You'll be keeping track - you'll be on top of maintaining appropriate records within the FreeAgent systems, managing the status, records and forecasting for prospective clients
You'll be in the driving seat! You'll be efficiently managing your diary, planning meetings in person and virtually and reporting back on progress in a structured and timely manner.
There may be occasional travel required.
We're looking for
A passionate sales professional with at least 1-2 years experience in a sales or business development role, ideally selling into professional services organisations
A proven record of achieving targets along with a self-reliant and self-motivated attitude
Appreciation of the challenges facing SME clients of accountancy practices and the application of technology within business
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with an eagerness to learn and develop professionally and personally
Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, with a high level of competence in office based technology
The drive to succeed in a sales and merit-based environment
Competitive annual salary dependent on experience plus excellent commission structure (first 3 months commission guaranteed).
