This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate with an interest in pursuing a career in data marketing or analytics. As a Marketing Database Executive your role will involve working with large data sets to support the business in our marketing actions.
The Marketing Database Executive will ultimately ensure the right customer data is captured and delivered in the right place, at the right time, and meet the marketing organisations campaign requirements for audit purposes.
Analysis & Reporting :
Ad hoc requests to analyse marketing data quality, data overlaps between products, etc.
Marketing & Sales support for marketing data segmentations
ABC audits, publisher statements
Full responsibility of ABC audits for our magazines and websites
Update and maintain publisher statements
Lead / Data Sourcing :
Identify all potential sources of marketing data across the business : e-commerce, online subscriptions and registrations, offline subscriptions and registrations, face-
to-face data, behavioural data.
Data Loading and Integration :
Responsible for data integration in the different databases held by the business
Qualification of data before import
Data quality :
Data cleansing, rules to clean outdated marketing data
Data enrichment, actions to get missing demographics
Preserving data quality to maintain top email deliverability levels
Data selection for campaigns
Required experience and skills
Highly analytical mind-set
Attention to detail
Very strong communication skills
Strong knowledge of Excel and Access
Solid data analysis background and track record
SQL knowledge desirable but not essential
Understanding of relational database systems
